Children Speak, Science Predicts, Families Thrive

Within every child’s voice are signals of risk and resilience. When science listens, families gain the foresight to shape what happens next. But too often, these signals go unnoticed. Without listening early, children face hidden risks that surface only when harm has already been done

Preempting Harm, Rewriting Stories

At SWP, we believe prevention starts with listening. Our science—built on 15 years of global research and validated with leading universities—transforms invisible signals into clear patterns families, coaches, and organizations can act on.

By detecting risks early and surfacing trends across teams, seasons and cultures, SWP helps rewrite stories before harm happens. Every check-in, every data point, is an opportunity to protect a child and strengthen the culture around them.

What is an SWP score?

The SWP Score is a science-backed measure of an athlete’s sport experience—covering mental, physical, and social wellness. It turns individual voices into clear, actionable insights that guide parents, coaches, and leaders.

The Role of Families

For athletes under 18, parents and guardians complete the SWP Score together with their child. This opens the door for

Families become partners in prevention—helping ensure their child feels safe, valued, and supported in sport.

Seeing Your Organization’s SWP Score

Families can view their sport organization’s overall SWP Score by requesting reports directly from the organization. These reports deliver health and wellness intelligence, while always protecting individual confidentiality.

Why Families Matter in the System

Families are the foundation of sport. When parents, coaches, and communities align around a shared standard of care, youth and athletes aren’t just safer—they’re stronger, more confident, and more likely to stay engaged in the sports they love.

SWP brings transparency, accountability, and hope into this ecosystem. For the first time, families can trust that the wellness and safety of their children are measured with the same seriousness as performance and results.

FAQs

Is my child’s information private?

Yes. Your child’s responses are always kept confidential. SWP is designed with privacy at its core, so only safe, aggregated insights are shared with coaches or the organization. Families can also choose anonymous reporting options—because trust is everything.

How often do we fill out an SWP Score?

Check-ins happen daily or seasonally, depending on your program. This isn’t just data—it’s a way to notice small changes, celebrate progress, and catch concerns before they grow.

Do I need to complete the score with my child (under 18 years old)?

We encourage parents and guardians to fill it out together with their child. These moments create meaningful conversations, give children a safe space to share honestly, and equip parents with the words to advocate for their child with coaches.

How do we see our sports organization’s SWP Score?

Families can request program- or team-level results directly from the organization. These insights show trends and patterns while protecting every athlete’s privacy—so you can understand the bigger picture without compromising individual trust.

What if we notice a concern while filling out the SWP Score?

SWP is designed to flag concerns early, giving families and coaches the chance to respond before harm escalates. This makes your child’s voice a powerful tool for protection and support.

How does SWP help my child beyond safety?

SWP isn’t just about preventing harm—it’s about helping every child feel valued, supported, and able to thrive. By tracking mental, social, and physical wellbeing, the platform helps families and coaches nurture confidence, belonging, and joy in sport.
